A once-in-a-generation talent, Paul “Hyper” Kontopanagiotis is DarkZero’s prodigious all-star. Hailing from the early underage scene, Hyper came up on the underage Disrupt Gaming team in 2018, before starting in Pro League with the Mousesports/Rise Nation roster. Despite their relegation in Season 9, Hyper was the top rated player that season and was picked up by DarkZero. Since then, the team qualified for the Raleigh Major and the Tokoname Pro League Finals as well as all three NAL Mini-majors, where they won the August Mini-major. Hyper even won the Esports Awards Play Of The Month in July 2020 for his 1v4 clutch against SSG in the US Division. Hyper’s unbelievable clutches and other-wordly fragging on Zofia and Jager has carried the team through close calls. Hyper has played for DarkZero since May of 2019.
