DarkZero is a full-scale esports organization that combines state-of-the-art training and development. With a deep passion for gaming we strive to empower our players and to create innovative ways to watch and engage them with their fans. We are a fairly young organization and field two world-class teams with the intention of producing many more.



Who We’re Looking For:


The Creative Director will be leading a small team in a start-up like environment and will be responsible for the overall direction and quality of creative work produced. They will work closely with other departments and players on a day-to-day basis in order to set and meet branding, promotional, and marketing objectives. The ideal candidate is a great leader who works well with staff and talent and is constantly pushing the boundaries of our presence in esports.


What You’ll Do:


  • Manage and supervise the overall creative team, including the art, content, and social media teams.
  • Lead and develop new ideas for DarkZero’s branding, promotional, and marketing campaigns.
  • Lead creative brainstorming sessions and appoint project leads.
  • Oversee all creative development, including art, content, and social media projects.
  • Work with upper management and other creative leads to set project deadlines and content goals.
  • Consistently report on projects’ status, deadlines, and budgets to upper management.
  • Oversee project timelines and ensure deliverables meet all requirements and brand standards.
  • Oversee the creative budget and allocation of resources.
  • Maintain constant communication with operational, partnerships and team/player management to understand requested partner content obligations.



What You’ll Need: 


  • Strongly demonstrated experience as a creative director or in similar creative roles.
  • Experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design, and brand development.
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent working knowledge of design and production software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, advertising, communications, or similar field helpful.
  • A genuine interest in esports and gaming.
